Recognize
In darkness, the head lamp
illuminates their words,
in the presence of the world
being black ink—
Also, so I think
And with that,
I blink
a moment, in time,
every single one,
it exists—in many forms.
Regardless of indulgences,
life itself, makes its appearances,
and so be it, if you maybe one—
play the role of you,
and what can be true, be true
No hiding,
misguiding,
eye contact chase,
simply show your face—
mysteries are born with curiosity,
essentially?
CRICKETS,
creak—
moths that reek,
thank God for 4am,
I just hit my peak,
goin’ to bed,
headed to work.
keep that poem straight,
fuck, I’m already late,
leave us in the next house,
continue to the next shift,
into the earth’s core we go,
do not let us falter,
for we are here to measure,
all that moves,
in constant motion,
with hardly a NOTION—
Create what you will
I stand exposed,
to your sight,
without your expectancy,
nor prediction.
And one just appears,
Out of nothing, out of nowhere—
Like a Shakespeare play,
A Midsummer Night’s
eye contact chase,
brought to you by,
the leaders in—
bloody drillin’

Thank God for 4am tucked in there... that scrappy little hour felt half haunted and half caffeinated. 😆
I am intrigued by the reeking moths
