I loved how you use the glacier landscape and “erosion” as a metaphor for tension, vulnerability, and the strength that remains when two people go through separation without leaving each other.

Thank you Phoeby for reading so closely, it’s what came to mind when I was thinking about what has shaped me, mountains, which then unraveled into a dramatic metaphor about partnership, which has also transformed me.

It’s true it’s often “conflicting emotion” I forget this is likely why I started writing poetry in the first place! lol
